Dr. Miguel Meléndez is a bilingual (English-Spanish) physician with over 20 years of experience in the field of general medicine. He has worked in various settings including emergency rooms, primary care clinics, and psychiatric hospitals. Since 2005 until 2016, Dr. Meléndez provided services at First Hospital Panamericano in Cidra, Puerto Rico where he gained significant experience treating patients with psychiatric conditions.

He was a distinguished board member of the Movement for Attaining Independent Living (MAVI) for people with developmental disabilities and lobbied funds in Washington D.C. on behalf of this center. Dr. Meléndez is a hard-working, ethical professional who enjoys helping those in need and is now a proud member of Compass Counseling.
