. • Anger Management The goal of anger management is to reduce both your emotional feelings and the physiological arousal that anger causes. You can't get rid of, or avoid, the things or the people that enrage you, nor can you change them, but you can learn to control your reactions to them.

• Family Therapy Family therapy is the belief that, regardless of the origin of the problem, and regardless of whether the clients consider it an "individual" or "family" issue, involving families in solutions often benefits clients

. • Group Therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which one or more therapists treat a small group of clients together as a group. At Compass Counseling we offer support groups to help with skills such as anger management, mindfulness, relaxation training and psychoeducation coping skills.

• Trauma Trauma is often the result of an overwhelming amount of stress that exceeds one's ability to cope, or integrate the emotions involved with a severely distressing event that experience. A traumatic event involves one's experience, or repeating events of being overwhelmed that can be precipitated in weeks, years, or even decades as the person struggles to cope with the immediate circumstances, eventually leading to serious, long-term negative consequences. Therapy will help one cope with trauma.
